Normal battery life is about 10 hours or about 20 hours with the optional extended battery. The GPRS personal GPS system also supports "Geofencing". Geofencing is a boundary that you set up on the map. When the unit crosses that boundary it triggers an e-mail alert to be sent to a designated address you have set up. Unlike most trackers, you can create rectangular, irregular or circular areas and it will support multiple geofences. You may set up as many geofences as you need. You can even set up an area outside of the current location and be notified when the unit enters that area. For instance, you could set up an area at your child's college or school and be automatically notified when they arrive.

The GPRS personal GPS system also records "bread crumb" trails showing where the unit has been. You can recall this data to review at a later date. Reports include distance, drive time, idle time, starting and ending addresses. Speed information for each trip can also be viewed on a different page. Real time tracking may be viewed in several formats. Digitial mapping includes: Ariel mapping, street mapping and hybrid mapping. Google Mapping Technology: Google Earth featuring 3D animation and driving report playback. In addition, you can get a standard map view, satellite photo view and hybrid map/satellite view.
