PC Miler GPS for Trucks
By Robert Berry, 04/20/09

I just bought the PC Miler 430 anticipating a fine product, after using it for a very short while I realized how wrong I was. The sound was horrible, for being in Semi, you could not hear ANY of the commands, C'mon PC MILER you should know trucks make noise. The "truck directions" where totally wrong, I was on a major road that has never been restricted your GPS said it was, and proceeded to have me in my loaded tractor-trailer turn around in a farmers field...many times!! I told a friend about my purchase he was going to buy one as well, luckly I met him 5 hrs. after I bought your product, luckly he was going where I just came from, I let him use it going back, instucting him to return it. He did try it for the 5 hrs. I had and and was totally amazed at the poor quality of your GPS...He now has my full refund, Sorry to say it Pc Miler you will not have a GPS in my, or any of my friends trucks..to bad, I really thought you were on to something good for the drivers, Thank-you

This is a bad product, period. The previous review said it all. My husband purchased one recently and is on his third already. The first one was so unclear when it spoke that he thought it was defective and exchanged it for another. The second was the same, however this time he could not get it to navigate either. You could choose a state and town, however it appeared that no towns had an roads?? So we tried to call customer service, and after an hour on hold on his cell phone, he finally hung up and trekked an hour back to the closest Petro. He got a third unit and used it on one run. This one worked exactly like the first (very low and unclear instructions) and, It had him in places he should not have been and having to make turns and such he should not have been making, and the thing was set for "truck" navigating. This is definately not cool! Many streets were not even in the system, but yet I could find them on my tomtom. So, needless to say the $349 PC Miler is now sitting on my counter and my husband has my tomtom from my car. Very disappointing! We will be trading it in for a different brand.
