The Garmin nuvi 750 GPS sports a wide (4.3"), bright screen and comes with preloaded maps for North America. It includes many of the desirable features for a portable navigation GPS. Two things that are lacking with the Garmin nuvi 750 GPS are traffic and bluetooth. One of the navigation aids provided with the Nuvi 750 is the ability to preplan multiple destination routes and have them sorted to provide the most efficient routing. You can save up to 10 preplanned routes. It also has "Where am I" which will instantly give you your present latitude and longitude, the nearest intersection and address and the nearest police station and fuel station. The Garmin nuvi 750 GPS includes text to speech which announces street names as well as, when and what direction to turn. Although it does not include a traffic receiver, one can be purchased separately. The Nuvi 750 is compatible with Fm TMC and MSN Direct. Check the following to make sure that your area is covered by these services before you purchase a receiver: Total Traffic Network coverage and MSN Direct coverage map. The Garmin nuvi 750 also includes "Garmin locate" which remembers your location when removed from the car, allowing you to locate your car in large parking lots. Travel aids included with the Nuvi 750 are a MP3 player, audio book, a jpeg picture viewer, currency and unit converter, a headphone jack and the ability to choose keyboard layout (QWERTY or ABC). The Garmin nuvi 750 GPS has a SD card slot allowing you to download your favorite music, books, etc. The SD card is not included with the unit. A FM transmitter is included with the unit allowing you to hear your Nuvi over your car FM radio. Would have preferred a full user manual included rather than only on-line but it isn't a big deal. What we liked: Added an SD card so we could play the music we wanted and the FM feature allowing playing through the car sound system is VERY good. Turn directions by street name. Do NOT buy a GPS without this feature. For the trip we took the directions were flawless. At one point suggesting a route far less congested than I would have taken on my own. Product support. Part way through the trip we got an audio error message and the voice prompts ceased. At our next stop I emailed Garmin support and within less than two hours had a reply with their recommended solution. And yes, it worked exactly as they said. On vacation I used 2 Magellan units hard to use and took me the long way what should have been a 4 hour trip was a 5 hour trip with Magellan, 3:50 with the Garmin. awesome highly recommend.
