The new Garmin desl 560LMT includes free maps and traffic

Garmin's newest entry in the trucking and RV market is the Garmin desl 560lmt a GPS for truckers.

The features included with this truckers GPS are as follows:

Text to speech: : This enables the built-in speakers to announce not only when and what direction to turn, but also the name of the street or highway on which you should turn. A great safety feature allowing the driver to keep their eyes on the road and not on the map.

Speed Limits: : A built in speed limit indicator will keep the driver informed as to the legal speed limit for most major highways in the US and Europe.

oute Avoidance: : This feature will allow the drive to select routes to avoid such as tolls, freeways etc.

Multi Destinations: : You will be able to select multiple destinations along your route and even sort them for the most efficient route. This would be a great feature for deliveries or service vehicles

Route Setup: You can select what type of route you need such as faster time, shorter distance or off road routing.

Auto Reroute: : Should you need to go off-route to avoid traffic or because of a detour, your Garmin desl 560lmt will automatically calculate a new route to bypass the problem.

ecoRoute™: When selected, this feature will select a more fuel efficient route for your truck or RV.

TrafficTrends™: : Because traffic varies with the time of day or even the day of the week predicting arrival times becomes complicated. With trafficTrends, the Garmin dezl 560lmt automatically learns daytime trends for traffic flow to improve your routes and better predict your estimated time of arrival based on time of day and day of week.

MyTrends™: When you save your regular destinations in your “Favorites,” your Garmin 560LT will, over time, begin to figure out where you’re going even without your telling it! It will provide time of arrival and relevant traffic information. So whether you’re driving to and from work or a regularly scheduled weekly event, your Garmin dezl 560lmt will help you get there on time. Lifetime Maps: With free Lifetime Maps you always have the most up-to-date maps, points of interest and navigation information available at your fingertips. Map updates are available for download up to 4 times a year. There are no subscription or update fees and no expiration dates.

Lifetime traffic: : The desl 560lmt is equipped with a FM traffic receiver, you will receive up to date traffic alerts on the Garmin desl 560lmt. No subscription fees, everything is included. Keyboard Selection: : This allows you to select they keyboard layout for your touch screen either Qwerty or ABC keyboard.

Garmin Garage™:: You can select your graphic for your vehicle and voices for your truckers GPS system.

Millions of POI’s: : Truck and RV oriented POI’s are preloaded on your Garmin GPS for truck drivers. The Garmin 560lmt combines National Truck and Trailer Services (NTTS) Breakdown Directory POIs with Navteq trucking POIs to provide you the most comprehensive, trucking-specific POI list. Our exit services let you search roadway exits for truck stops, food, lodging, rest areas and weigh stations so you’re never left guessing what’s around the bend. Once you find a truck stop, see a list of services offered at that location, such as WiFi, showers and truck scales.

Trip Report: : With your Garmin 560LMT, you can easily log and keep you trip information. You can record fuel usage, and the Garmin desl 560LMT will automatically record state mileage for IFTA fuel logging. In addition you can easily log your hours of service and driving status, and the Garmin desl 560LT will track your hours and automatically warns you of HOS violations. You can then export all logs for better reporting and tracking of each trip.

The Garmin desl 560lmt is compatible with Windows® XP or newer and Mac® OS X 10.4 or later.
